Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.62 g, 6 h), P. Petronius Turpilianus, moneyer, Rome, circa 19 BC. CAESAR AVGVSTVS Bare head of Augustus to right. Rev. P•PETRON•TVRPILIAN [III VIR] Pegasus advancing to right. BMC 23. Cohen 491. RIC 297. Nicely toned. A few banker's marks and with a few light scratches, otherwise, nearly very fine.

From an old Swiss collection (with collector's ticket stating the coin was privately acquired on 5 October 1897 from the collection of Monsieur Wallaert).
